BMX TASMANIA - SOUTHERN CITY

BMX Tasmania is the Governing body of the sport of BMX racing in Tasmania. Currently there are 2 clubs in the state, Launceston in the north and Southern City in the south. The state is managed by a board of management with members elected by club delegates. Racing and relevent issues to racing are directed by an Event Management Group made up of nominated delegates from each club.

RACING IN TASMANIA

A Super Series is held each year, the current format is 4 rounds, 2 in the south and 2 in the north. Pre - Titles are held approx. 1 month prior to state championships which are held in October/November on rotational basis. Open entries accepted. Riders must hold an open licence to compete in these events as opposed to a Club Licence. Each club is allocated one state sanctioned meeting in each calendar year
